Obituary, Parkersburg News & Sentinel, January 18 2015:

Jeannine Yoho, 85, of Parkersburg, passed away surrounded by good friends on Jan. 15, 2015, at Wyngate Senior Living Facility, Parkersburg.

Mrs. Yoho was born in Pennsboro, a daughter of the late Carl A. and Ruby Grimm Riggs.

She was a graduate of Pennsboro High School and received an associate's degree from Potomac State College. Jeannine had served as a teacher's aide at Fairplains Elementary School and was an avid Mountaineer fan. She was an accomplished singer and was considered the "Choir Mom" at Stout Memorial United Methodist Church where she had been a longtime member. Jeannine never met a stranger. She had a very joyful spirit that inspired those around her and she could be easily identified by the sound of her laughter.

Jeannine is survived by two daughters, Karen Kusko and husband, Jon, of Sheldon, S.C., and Karla J. Moriarty and husband, Joseph Johnson, of North Haledon, N.J.; and one grandchild, Jane E. Wilfong of Parkersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. "Mart" Yoho in 1995 and her special paternal grandmother, Mollie Lucinda Riggs.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stout Memorial U.M. Church, 3329 Broad St., Parkersburg. The Revs. Paul Russell and Kevin Lantz will officiate and special music will be provided by the church choir, Jane E. Wilfong and Kent and Felice Jorgeson. Services will conclude with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan Funeral Home, 1010 Murdoch Ave., Parkersburg, from 2-8 p.m. Monday and at the church one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Stout Memorial U.M. Church Scholarship Award or Music Fund, 3329 Broad St., Parkersburg, WV 26104, HouseCalls Hospice, 801 Garfield Ave., Parkersburg, WV 26101 and the Smoot Theater, P.O. Box 886, Parkersburg, WV 26102.
