Eugene A. Hightland, 70, Fillmore, passed away Sunday evening, Oct. 23, 2016 at the St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.
He was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., on May 4, 1946, the son of John and Iris (Owens) Hightland.
He was a production supervisor at Amoco.
He enjoyed cars, racing, traveling, movies and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Krieger Hightland; daughters Anne Hightland, Tampa, Fla., and Lisa Eaton, Greencastle; grandchildren Paul L. (Roxanne) Oberley, Indianapolis, and Michelle (R.J.) Sharpe, Reelsville; three great-grandchildren; and a cousin, David (Judi) McDonald, Venice, Fla.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Bethel Cemetery, Fillmore.
Arrangements are being handled by Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville.
