Vernie T. Rexroad
Little Hocking — Vernie T. Rexroad, 91, of Little Hocking Route 1 died at 6:48 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 3, 1995) at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Parkersburg.
She was born Nov. 19, 1903, in Harrisville, W.Va., to James L. and Jennie Mae Darnell Moore. She was a homemaker and a member of the World Wide Church of God.
She is survived by two daughters, Annabell Duvall of Nashport and Mary Jane Smith of Parkersburg; three sons, John Rexroad and Scotty Rexroad, both of Little Hocking, and Eugene Rexroad of Duncan Falls; one sister, Minnie Hiley of Pennsboro, W.Va.; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde J. Rexroad, in 1971; her parents; three sisters; three brothers; and one grandchild.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Spencer Funeral Home in Belpre with Evangelist Chuck Boston officiating. Burial is in Decatur United Methodist Church Cemetery in Little Hocking. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
