Marion Evelyn Grimm, 53, of 6833 Layton Rd., Fowlervillle, died Feb. 18, 1991 at Sparrow hospital in Lansing.
Mrs. Grimm was born June 5, 1937 in Handy Township, Livingston County, the daughter of Frederick and Marion E. (Gehringer) Winegar.
She was a longtime secretary for the Grand Insurance Agency of Fowlerville.
She served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was active in the Marine Corps League. In recent years she spearheaded the League’s annual Toys for Tots Christmas fundraiser n the Fowlerville area.
Survivors include: 2 daughters, Ms. Diana Grimm of Friendswood, Texas and Mrs. Lisa Bay of Howell; 2 sons, Michael Grimm of Fowlerville and Clarence Grimm of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her mother, Marion Winegar of Fowlerville; 2 brothers, George Winegar of Laurel, Maryland and Henry Winegar of Brighton; plus 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services, with military honors, were held Feb. 21 at the United Brethren in Christ Church of Fowlerville, with Rev. Steve Malson officiating. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery of Fowlerville.
Arrangements were handled by the Liverance Funeral Home.”
