Lillian requested a corrected birth certificate, which was approved March 23, 1962. It showed her name as Ethel B. Acklin, rather than Lillian Bernight Acklin. Her parents under both names were Duncan Acklin and Nora Kelly. **NOTE: the date of birth was given as April 15, 1907, not April 14, 1906.

“Grimm
Suddenly, on Friday, Sept. 20, 1968, Lillian B. Grimm (Sheets), late of 3814 East St., beloved mother of Charles N., Donald E., Melvin H., Mrs. Elizabeth Morgan and Mrs. Vivian MaMaux; survived by two brothers, one sister, 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Friends received at the Pappert Funeral home, 711 Lockhart St., N. S. Funeral on Monday with services at 1 p.m.”

Note that the obituary identified her as Lillian B. Grimm, but she is named Lillian B. Sheets on her death certificate.
