Aunt Liz and Aunt Vivian were taken from their mother and put in a home, probably about the same time Dad and Melvin were sent to live with a relative of Uncle Alva. Grandma Grimm never visited the girls while they were in the home, but when they got out the boys were back with their mother.

Age 87, of McCandless passed away on December 11, 2022. She was born in the North Side to the late Charles and Lillian Grimm. Wife of the late George W. Haggerty, Jr.; loving mother to James G. Morgan III and the late Karee Dailey; grandmother to Thomas Dailey; and great-grandmother to Grace Marie Elliot. Friends will be received on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Funeral Service celebrating the life of Elizabeth will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home.
