Bill and Lillian’s marriage record shows his parents as Edward E. Grimm and Emma Locke, and Lillian’s parents as George Vallas and Agnes Mocknich.

Grimm, Elmer P. ‘Bill’
Age 87, of Pittsburgh’s North Side, formerly of Port Orange, FL, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Lake, WV; beloved husband of the late Virginia ‘Babe’ (Thornton) Grimm; loving father of Sheryl Ann Davis, William Charles Grimm & wife Anita, Mark Allen Grimm; proud grandfather of T. J. & Samantha Davis, Bill & Nathan Grimm, Amber & Mark Grimm; uncle of Cindy Littlejohn. River Boat Captain of E. P. Grimm River Contracting. Visitation on Wednesday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s, Moon Twp., 981 Brodhead Rd where service will be held on Thursday 10 AM. Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s.

“Elmer Grimm
Elmer P. “Bill” Grimm, 87, formerly of the North side of Pittsburgh and Port Orange, Fla., died on Sunday, Oct. 3, in Logan General Hospital, Logan Lake, W.Va.
He was born in Power, W.Va. on Dec. 2, 1916, a son of the late Edward and Emma (Locke) Grimm.
Growing up on the city’s North Side near the rivers, he was destined at an early age to become a river boat captain. he was owner and operator of E. P. Grimm River Contracting, from where he retired in 1986.
Mr. Grimm also was a member of the Coraopolis Masonic Lodge #674.
His wife, Virginia (Thornton) “Babe” Grimm preceded him in death on July 25, 1996.
Surviving are three children, Sheryl Davis of Lake, W.Va., William Grimm and his wife, Anita, of Hopewell, and Mark Grimm of Port Orange, Fla.; six grandchildren, TJ and Samantha Davis, Bill and Nathan Grimm and Amber and Mark Grimm; and a niece, Cindy Littlejohn of Port Orange, Fla.
Friends were received at Copeland’s Moon Township Funeral Home, where services were held with the Rev. Alan Drake officiating.
Burial was in Uniondale Cemetery.”
