Marriage Notice:
“McCullough-Kerr Marriage Announced
Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Eileen Kerr, daughter of John C. Kerr of Holbrook, and the late Clytie S. Kerr, to Ralph S. McCullough, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. McCullough, of near Nineveh.
The double ring ceremony was read at 8 o’clock, Friday evening, Sept. 28 in the parsonage of the West Washington Methodist Church, by the Rev. John h. Debolt. They had as their only attendants Cpl. and Mrs. robert L. Conklin, of Bryan, Texas.
For her marriage the bride chose a street length dress of brown crepe, trimmed in gold sequins. She wore a gold felt half hat with a shoulder length brown veil dotted with sequins. Her other accessories were of brown. Her only jewelry was a diamond necklace belonging to the bridegroom’s sister. A corsage of yellow roses completed her ensemble.
Mrs. Conckin, as matron of honor, wore a two piece dress of light blue wool, trimmed in black velvet. Her accessories were of black and her corsage was pink roses.
Mrs. McCullough is a graduate of Center Township High School and Mr. McCullough is a graduate of Nineveh Hgh School. On Sept. 8 he received his honorable discharge from the U. S. Army, after four and one-half years of service, three years of which were spent in the European Theatre of War. For the present the young couple will reside with their parents.”

Eileen Kerr McCullough Waynesburg homemaker, seamstress
Eileen Kerr McCullough, 93, of Waynesburg, died at 4:20 a.m. Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Saturday, January 17, 1920, in Greene County, a son of the late John C. Kerr and Clytie Staggers Kerr.
Mrs. McCullough worked as a seamstress at Waynesburg Shirt Factory and was a homemaker.
Her husband, Ralph S. McCullough, died September 7, 1978.
Surviving are a son, Ralph Richard McCullough of Sycamore; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Keith Kerr and Kenneth Kerr.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370, is in charge of arangements. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in West Union Cemetery.
