Letters of Administration were granted to Armstrong Grim and John Scott on Sept. 4, 1845 for the estate of Adam Grim. (Book 2, no. 1177, Greene Co., PA) James Golden and John Higinbotham were sureties for the bond of administration. The inventory of Adam’s estate was signed by Armstrong Grim and had John Scott’s mark. The inventory was taken Sept. 8, 1845. The estate papers also include a list of what was sold from the inventory, who purchased it, and the purchase price.
