140It’s possible that Job and Mary are buried in Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery in Pleasants Co., WV. There are three Locke stones with no first names. One has dates of 1795-1872 and is identified as father. Another has 1805-1880 and is identified as mother. The third as 1844-1865 and is identified as son.
146 The first two stones match Job & Mary Locke. The third could be that of son, Isaac.
Question regarding children: 4 of them have birth dates as 1850. Charles and Eliza were twins, and Charles’ marriage license names him as a child of Job and Mary. Samuel and Harriet were only 1 month old at census, meaning they were born in July, 1850. Samuel and Harriet have disappeared by 1860, and Charles and Eliza have appeared. What happened to Samuel & Harriet? Who were they?
Samson, Samuel, and Harriet are not listed on a hand written note giving names and birth dates of Charles and his siblings. Note also says there were 12 children. The children identified are:
