“Anna B. Staggers
Nursing supervisor of Brownsville Hospital:
Anna B. Harvey Staggers, 88, of Graysville, formerly of Brownsville, died Wednesday, October 13, 1999, in Brownsville General Hospital.
She was born June 27, 1911, in Nicholson Township, a daughter of James and Minerva haught.
Mrs. Staggers was a life member of First United Methodist Church, Brownsville, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Graysville Unity Presbyterian Church.
She was a retired nursing supervisor at Brownsville General hospital and secretary of Brownsville General Hospital Nurses Alumni.
Surviving are her husband, Oakle W. Staggers of Graysville; a son, George E. Harvey Jr. of Brownsville; a stepdaughter, Shirley Schanz of graysville; two sisters, Sue Organt of Fairchance and Florence Konicki of the state of California; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are her first husband, George E. Harvey; a sister, Elizabeth Stair; and four brothers, Milton, William, Harry and Albert Haught.”239
