Norman Smith Locke, retired farmer, died Sunday at the age of 98. The aged resident — older than both the state and county in which he lived — passed away at his St. Marys residence. He was born April 5, 1860, in what was then Pleasants County, Virginia. He was a son of the late Thomas and Charlotte Simonton Locke.
