Mrs. Mary C. Locke
Died May, 1947

Mary C. Locke, wife of Smith Locke, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home in this city. She was 85. Mrs. Locke was a daughter of the late Isaac and Sarah Jane Roby, born and reared in Pleasants County.

Four children survive. Mrs. Nellie Whaley of Athens, O.; Bradey A. Locke of this city; Walter A. Locke of Hebron; and Truman Locke of Pittsburgh, Pa; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in St. Paul’s Methodist Church, Friday 2:30 p.m. with Rev. C. B. Johnson, a former pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in the IOOF cemetery.
