“Gary Lee Staggers Sr.
Former machinist and member of Hiller VFC
Gary Lee “Butch” Staggers Sr., 45, of Hiller died Friday, April 30, 1999, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born August 31, 1953, in a U.S. Army hospital in Ft. Eustis, Va., a son of Mary Lou Roule Staggers of Hiller and the late Glenn Lee Staggers.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Brownsville, and a former member of Hiller Volunteer Fire Company.
Mr. Staggers was a machine operator for the former Hillman Barge Co.
Surviving are his wife, Victoria Staggers; a daughter, Leslie Staggers of Hiller; a son, Gary Lee Staggers Jr. of Hiller, his maternal grandmother, Mary Roule, formerly of Marianna; a brother, Rod “Jim” Staggers of Perryopolis; and a nephew.
Deceased, in addition to his father, are his maternal grandfather, Jack Roule; and his paternal grandparents, Glenn and Myrtle Staggers.”
