Obituary, Washington Observer, Saturday, November 3, 1962:
“Mrs. Agnes R. Vester, 52 of 1759 Jefferson Ave., died in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Thursday, November 1, 1962, following an illness of two weeks.
She was born January 29, 1910, in San Francisco, Calif., a daughter of the late George L. and Minnie Grim McGlumphy. She had resided in Washington practically all her life.
She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Wind Ridge and a member of the Washington Review 101, women’s Benefit Association.
Surviving are her husband, William A. Vester; two daughters and one son, Dolores J., wife of Joshua Holliday; Janice, wife of John Rouz; and William E. Vester, all of Washington. Also surviving are two sisters, Julia F. Ewing and Marjorie Duffey, both of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren. One brother is deceased. Buried at Washington Cemetery.”
