Obituary:
“Ray Cumberledge, 61, of Nettle Hill, died at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 6, 1958, at his home after a lingering illness. He was a farmer.
Born June 15, 1896, in Wayne Township, he was a son of Samuel and Nancy Wise Cumberledge, both deceased. He spent most of his life in Jackson Twp.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Stockdale Cumberledge, whom he married July 25, 1918, two sons, Paul, of Columbus, Ohio, and Robert at home, a daughter, Margretta, wife of Kenneth Replogle of Dunedin, Fla.; two grandchildren, one step-grandchild and two sisters, Mrs. Ray Stockdale of Holbrook, RD 1 and Mrs. Conrad Stockdale of Painesville, Ohio. One brother, Lee, is deceased.
He was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church.”
