Jacob R., my father, went to work at Paden City Glass in the late 1920's and worked various jobs. Helped organize the Glass unions in the 30's and worked his way up from Steward, then went to work for the National Ass'n of Manufactures of Pressed and Blown Glassware (about 1941) where he was the Secretary/Treasurer. During the war, when he was called up, John Morris took his place; after the war they worked together. Then around 1951 they split the work; dad took handmade glass and John took machine made glass. About 1955, joining back together they went on their own and started the Industrial Service Bureau as a Management Consulting firm, i.e. contracts, arbitration, wage and pricing ;also representing the Glass Industry at the Washington Tarrif Hearings. He was listed in Who's Who in the 60's.

Dad wrote the Paden City High School Alma Mater. Uncle Bob’s records has birth as being August 7,1911. Died on his parents’ wedding aniversary. Pictures available 1911-up
