“Here last Tuesday for the funeral of Mrs. H. J. Tallman of Apopka, Florida, were her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Tallman of Apopka, her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tennant of Homestead, PA, her grandsons, Harry Marshall of Homestead, Allan Tallman of Apopka and granddaughter, Miss Eileen Marshall of Homestead. Mr. and Mrs. Tallman of Viella, Mrs. W. H. (Zelma) Bills and Mr. and Mrs. Glenfell Rowe of Akron, Ohio, and Rev. J. S. Sarver of Williamburg, WV.
Mrs. Tallman and husband, former Tyler county natives came here from Florida in early September for a visit with her brother, J. W. Grimm and Mrs. Grimm, of Stealey Street and other Tyler relatives and friends and also to be present for the 85th birthday of Mr. Grimm, which he observed on September 22. She died at the Grimm home on October 13, her 77th birthday.”
