Harry was the son of Milton Harvey Tallman and Sarah Fordyce. Harry was listed as head of household in the 1900 Census of Centerville District, Tyler Co., WV. In 1926 he lived in Pittsburgh, PA.

A native of West Virginia, he came to Apopka 20 years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Tallman, Mr. Harry J. — Funeral services for Mr. Harry J. Tallman, 90, 125 S. Highland St., Apopka, who died Tuesday, will be held from the Casto-Spurgeon Funeral Home in West Union, W. Va. Interment will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Joseph Mills, W. Va. Viewing hours for Mr. Tallman will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday from the Bray Funeral Home, Apopka, who is in charge of local arrangements.
