Jacob Grim
Jacob Grim, a well known citizen, died at his home in Rices Landing, Thursday evening, March 20, aged 66 years. He had been in failing health for several years, but his death was sudden and was the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Grim was a native of Aleppo township and lived in that section until four years ago, when he removed with his family to Rices Landing. Mr. Grim was twice married. His first wife was Miss Ella E. Miller and her death occurred in 1905. He later married Miss Elizabeth Cooke, who survives; also the following children: Homer and Cecil Grim, of Rexford; Ruth Grim, Aleppo; Ermel, Reuben, Jacob, Pearl, Martha, Woodrow and Eve, all at home. The funeral was held Sunday at 1 o’clock, in the Windy Gap church in Aleppo township, conducted by the Rev. V. K. Betts. Interment in the church cemetery.
