Obituary:
“Mrs. Icie K. Grim, 86, of Sycamore, died Monday, April 20, 1970, in the Sewickley Valley Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born January 18, 1884, in Aleppo Township, a daughter of Isaac Kuhn and Elizabeth Knapp Kuhn. Her husband, J. Garfield Grim, died in 1947.
A member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mrs. Grim taught school in the Greene Valley and Centennial Schools in Aleppo prior to her marriage.
Surviving are two sons: John Grim, of Sycamore, and Paul R., of Lakewood, Ohio; three daughters: Miss Frances Grim, of Sycamore; Mrs. Allan (Ruby) Yoder, of Coraopolis, and Mrs. Carl G. (Elizabeth) Loughman, of Sycamore, R. D. 1; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and tree sisters: Mrs. Blanche King, of Sycamore; Mrs. Goldie Phillippi, of Ruff Creek, and Mrs. Georgia Reed, of Florence.”
