“Raymond R. Grim
Raymond Richard Grim, 73, of Belpre died Jan. 3, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born April 29, 1933, in Stewart, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Bernice Grim. He graduated from Belpre High School in 1952. He worked at Pride’s Market in Belpre and was in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He retired on July 1, 1991, from Marbon/Borg-Warner Chemicals/G.E. after 31 years.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lorain Grim; three daughters, Cindy (Pat) Mirisciotta of Belpre, Bernice (Ralph Jr./Buddy) Wires of Belpre and Kathy (Michael) Boyce of Fairmont, W.Va. Also survivig are three grandchildren, Matthew Wires of Belpre, Amber Golden of Fairmont and Michaele Boyce of Petersburg, W.Va.; a brother, Russell (Ruth) Grim of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Helen Beall of Alliance, Ohio, Donna Mead of Lorena, Texas, and Phyllis Cline of Belpre; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Bob Grim; a special friend, Linda Miracle of Belpre; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Grim of Gainesville, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Grim Jr. of Gainesville; and an infant granddaughter, Cynthia Shawn Minisciotta of Belpre.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, with Pastor Mark Eaton and Pastor Jim Corbitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Washington County Hospice or Porterfield Baptist Church, 39 Hollywood Dr., Little Hocking, OH 45742.”
