“Lloyd P. Grim, aged 60 years, of Wind Ridge, died of an apparent heart attack at 9:30 a.m. Monday, October 16, 1978, while at work.
Mr. Grim, a transmission mechanic for Columbia Gas Transmission Corp., was working in the field in Richhill Township when he suffered the fatal attack. He had worked for the company for 25 years, primarily out of its Majorsville warehouse, and was a member of the company Quarter Century Club.
He wa a son of the late Robert and Bernie Taylor Grim and was born October 3, 1918, at Wind Ridge, where he resided all his life. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Wind Ridge Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Baldwin Grim, whom he married June 19, 1947; a son, Edward Grim of Wind Ridge, and three sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Genevieve) Headley of Wind Ridge, Mrs. Nelse (Helen) Ingersol of Wellsville, N.Y., and Mrs. John (Grace) Miller of Westfield.
A sister and three brothers are deceased.”
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 19, 1978 at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert L. Lantz Funeral Home; Rev. Garvin Hupp officiating. Interment was at Wind Ridge Cemetery.967
