“Lloyd Edward Grim
Pipeliner for Texas Eastern Gas Co.
Lloyd Edward (Eddie) Grim, 52, of Wind Ridge, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 4, 2002 in Richhill Township.
He was born February 17, 1950 in Waynesburg, a son of Shirley M. Baldwin Grim of Wind Ridge and the late Lloyd P. Grim.
Mr. Grim resided in the Wind Ridge area all his life.
He was Protestant.
Mr. Grim was a 1968 graduate of West Greene High School and a 1969 graduate of Computer Systems Institute of Pittsburgh.
He was a former employee of Tri-State Engineering in Washington and Toppers Food in Eighty Four and had been employed for the past 24 years by Texas Eastern Gas Co. (Duke Energy) as a pipeliner.
Mr. Grim was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer and was a member of Waynesburg Moose Lodge and Wind Ridge Sportsman’s Club.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served with the U.S. Navy as a DP3 assigned to the Pentagon. He served as an usher during the Richard M. Nixon inauguration.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are an uncle, Kenneth E. Baldwin of Graysville; an aunt, Genevieve “Babe” Grim Headley of Wind Ridge; and several cousins.”1428
