Josie Grim Shaw, 90, of Graysville R.D. 1, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 16, 2000, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital emergency room.
She was born January 10, 1910, in Dallas, WV, a daughter of Weeden James and Martha Tennant Barnhart.
Mrs. Shaw resided in Richhill Township, Greene County, most of her life and was a member of the former South Wheeling Baptist Church in Ryerson.
On March 20, 1929, she married Robert Lincoln Grim, who died August 4, 1978. She later married Floyd E. Shaw, who died November 22, 1991.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Stein of Pittsburgh; three sons, Russell W. Grim of Wind Ridge R.D. 1, Jerry L. Grim of Graysville R.D. 1 and Lanny G. Grim of Claysville; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Kenneth E. Grim, who died August 31, 1999; four sisters, Eldora Glantzer, Helen Yocum, Bessie Dinsmore and Ethel Mix; and three brothers, Floyd, Harold and Woodrow Barnhart. Mrs. Shaw was the last of her immediate family. Services were held Wednesday, April 19, with the Rev. Kurt Knoble officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery, Richhill Township.89
