“Irene Velma Kassabaum, 75, of Farmington, died March 12 at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center. She was born May 9, 1916 in Cantwell to the late L.T. Merritt and Grace Haile Merritt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl M. Kassabum [sic].
She is survived by one daughter, June (Mrs. Larry) Asher of Des Peres; one chosen son, Don Meyer of Fredericktown; four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday at Taylor Funeral Service in Farmington. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Taylor Chapel with Rev. Bearl Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington.
Memorials my be made to the Diabetes Foundation.”
