“Mrs. Anna A. Grimm
“Mrs. Anna Allum Grimm, of South Morgan street, died in the Waynesburg hospital, Tuesday, July 24, aged 55 years. She had not been well for some time, but her condition was not considered serious. Monday evening she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage which caused her death. Mrs. Grimm was a daughter of J. P. and Rebecca Jane Carroll Allum, deceased. She was born in Richhill township, but when a child she removed to Waynesburg with her parents, who were for many years in charge of the Allum hotel, on East Greene street. She was united in marriage with Sherman Grimm, an attorney ofWaynesburg, whos death occurred several years ago. One son, Allum Grimm, of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., and a grandson, James Grimm, survive; also a brother, Robert Allum, of Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Grimm was a member of the Waynesburg Christian church. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, at 2:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. T. Sanford Williams. Interment in Green Mount cemetery.”179
