Adam H. Grimm, 76, Rt. 1, died early this morning at KSB Hospital, Dixon, following a short illness. He was born Dec. 2, 1891 in Pennsylvania, the son of Reese and Mary Gates Grimm. Grimm was married to Emma Hepfer Bennett Nov. 1, 1943 in Oregon. He was a lifelong area farmer. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Presbyterian Church. World War I veteran and a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and a sister. Survivors include his widow; a step-son, Dale Bennett, Franklin Grove; two step-daughters, Mrs. Harold (Betty) Hoff, Franklin Grove and Mrs. Ray (Jeannine) Huskins, Mount Morris; nine step-grandchildren; a brother, James, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Shriver, Franklin Grove and Mrs. Almeda Kinnan, Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lighthouse United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jerry Paull, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
