Emma E. Deutsch, 83, 310 W. 7th, died Thursday, March 17, 1994 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. She had been employed at J.C. Penney in Dixon for many years. She was born April 25, 1910 in rural Dixon to Clarence and Olive (Bemis) Hepfer. She married John Bennett on Jan. 30, 1929. He preceded her in death on July 28, 1942. She then married Adam Grimm on Nov. 11, 1943 in Oregon. He preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1968. She then married Frank Deutsch on June 13, 1970. He preceded her in Death on Feb. 10, 1973.
She was also predeceased by three brothers, three sisters, one daughter and one grandson.
She was a member of the Lighthouse United Methodist church in Oregon and a member of the Thimble Club.
Survivors include one son, Dale (Mary) Bennett of Franklin Grove; two daughters, Jeaninne (Ray) Huskins of Mt. Morris and Betty (Harold) Hoff of McHenry; two step-daughters, Rosanne (Dr. Don) Edwards of Dixon and Junemarie (William) Zinnen of Dixon; three sisters, Ruth Long of Chana, Helen (Willis) Hodges of Franklin Grove and Vivian Hepfer of Dixon; also 10 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Lighthouse United Methodist Church, Rev. Gregg Downs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.. Arrangements were completed by the Farrell-Holland Funeral Home in Oregon. A memorial has been established to the Lighthouse United Methodist Church.
