“Mildred Ullom Day
Secretary at Mellon Bank for 32 years
Mildred Ullom Day, 90, formerly of 800 East Beau Street, Washington, died Tuesday, March 14, 1995, at the Washington County Health Center.
She was born October 10, 1904, in Parkersburg, Wood County, W.Va., the daughter of Lantz H. and Maude A. Hinerman Ullom.
Mrs. day was a member of First Christian Church of Washington.
Following graduation from Washington High School in 1923, Mrs. Day studied at the Washington Business College, graduating in 1925. she was a secretary at Mellon Bank of Washington for 32 years.
Mrs. Day was a member of Washington Chapter 409 of the Order of Eastern Star.
On February 21, 1960, in Washington, she married Raymond E. Day, who died February 9, 1988.
Mrs. Day is the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are eight nieces and nephews, including Carla Riggs and Kyle Riggs, both of Washington.
Deceased are one brother, Reynol V. Ullom; and two sisters, Monalea Miner and Thelma Ullom Riggs.”922
