Obituary:
Lantz H. Ullom, 74, 262 North Franklin street, died in his home Saturday morning, April 8, 1950 at 12:15 o’clock, following a lingering illness. His condition had been serious for the past month.
He was born in Aleppo, Greene County, April 3, 1876, a son of the late Melissa and Madison Ullom.
For many years he operated a paint and hardware store in Washington. He retired in 1933 to devote his time to a fruit farm in Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Maud A. Ullom; one son, Reynol V. Ullom, of Delaware, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma U. Riggs, of Washington; Mrs. Monalea U. Miner, of Aliquippa; Miss Mildred M. Ullom, at home; two brothers, Thomas H. Ullom, of Washington; William Grimm, of Cameron, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Flora Snyder, Aleppo; Mrs. Sam B. West, of California and eight grandchildren.”
