Clinton Riggs Henthorn, 67, of 138 Clara St., Weirton, died Thursday afternoon in Weirton General Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1907, in Middlebourne, W. Va., to the late Thaddeus and Helen Riggs Henthorn.
He retired in 1972 from the Service-Maintenance Steel Division. He was a member of the Weirton Lodge AF and AM, the Osiris Shrine Temple in Wheeling and was a member of the Consistory, Valley of Wheeling.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Ash Henthorn; a daughter, Mrs. James M. (Patsy) Saffel, of Weirton; a son, Carl R., Allegan, Michigan; a brother, Frederick of Newell; two sisters, Mrs. George Estlak of New Martinsville and Mrs. Frank (Mary) Ash of Josephs Mills, W. Va., and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, Penco Road, 7-9 today and 1-3 Saturday. The body will be taken to the Furbee Funeral Home, Alma, W. Va. Services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Firbee Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Flynn officiating.
Interment in Beechwood Cemetery. Masonic graveside services will be held.
