Manuel was the son of Peter and Mariah (Conaway) Ash. Manuel and Bertha lived on Fordyce Road, now called Conaway Road.

Manuel K. Ash, 93, of 252 S. 12th St., died today at 6:05 a.m. in Weirton General Hospital.
Mr. Ash was a retired farmer, coming from Alma, W. Va., three years ago to reside with a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Mabel) Lantz, of Weirton.
Also surviving are two sons, Gail C. and Paul G., both of Weirton, and two other daughters, Mrs. Clinton (Pearl) Henthorne of Weirton and Mrs. Rudy (Mamie) Visnic of Richmond, 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great greeat grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Furbee Funeral Home, Alma, where arrangements are incomplete.

Services for Manuel K. Ash, 93, of 252 S. 12th St., will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mount Memorial Baptist Church, Alma, W. Va. Burial will be made in Beechwood Cemetery, ALma.
Friends will be received at the Furbee Funeral Home, Alma, today and Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mr. Ash died Thursday at 6:05 a.m. in the Weirton General Hospital. He was a retired farmer, coming to Weirton from Alma three years ago.
Included in the survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Baker of Alma, Mrs. Molly Reed of Willows, Calif., and Mrs. Alma McGinnis of Muncie, Ind.; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Ash’s favorite charity was the Beechwood Cemetery Fund.
