Ethel M. Grimm, 96, died March 4 at the McAllen Methodist Hospital in McAllen, TX. She moved to Alamo, TX, from Shiloh, WV, in 1930.

Mrs. Grimm was a member of the Alamo Community Church, the Ladies Aid there, and also a member of the Srosis Club. She was a member and past worthy matron of the San Juan Chapter of Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son, Harper G. Grimm of Charleston, WV, and a daughter, Mrs. Louis T. White of Alamo, TX.

Other survivors include the followering grandchildren: Elizabeth Roth, Potomac, MD, Susannah Poe, Fairmont (unreadable) and Tom W. White Dallas, TX.

Mrs. Grimm was preceded in death by eight brothers and one daughter.

Services were held March 7 at Rose Lawn Mausoleum. Graveside rites were conducted by the San Juan Eastern Stars. The Skinner Funeral Home of Pharr, TX, was in charge of arrangements.542
