Obituary:
Bernice N. (Bun) Staggers, 89 of Graysville, RD 1, died at 4:50 A.M. Wednesday, August 29, 1990, in the Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington.
She was born March 30, 1901, in Graysville, a daughter of James A. and Annie Marie Huffman Ealy.
Mrs. Staggers had resided in the Graysville area all of her life, where she was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of the church’s ladies auxiliary and the ladies auxiliary of the Graysville Volunteer Fire Department.
On October 27, 1920, she married Albert T. Staggers, who died January 7, 1942.
She and her husband owned and operated a general store in Graysville for many years. After his death, she continued to operate the store until her retirement in 1969.
Surviving are two dauthers, Marjorie Mitchell and Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Baldwin, both of Graysville RD 1; one brother, Frank Ealy of Graysville RD 1; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.”1510
