“Rose ‘Burch’ Bales, 91, of Farmington died November 1 at Fleur de Lis Nursing Center in Farmington. She was born April 26, 1904 in Farmington to the late Commodore Perry Burch and Emma ‘Mund’ Burch. She was preceded indeath by her husband, Edward Bales; five sisters: Fredona kassabaum, Eilma emma Thompson, Mahala Chapman, Minnie Doughty, Mary Magdalena Crawford; three brothers: Alfred Burch, Perry Burch, and Wesley Burch.
Mrs. Bales was a member of the Pendleton United Baptist Church. She was secretary at eh Department of the Army.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Taylor Funeeral Service in Farmington. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. J. Lacey officiating. Burial will be in the Doe Run Memorial Cemetery in Doe Run. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton United Baptist Church.”
