“Kim S. Gillogly
Member of Waynesburg Eagles
Kim S. Gillogly, 50, of Holbrook, died unexpectedly at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2002, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
He was born February 1, 1952, in Washington, a son of Jack S. and Faith Stockdale Gillogly of Holbrook.
Mr. Gillogly was a resident of the Holbrook area all his life.
He was a member of the former Claylick Methodist Church, where he served on the cemetery board. He attended Bristoria Baptist Church.
Mr. Gillogly was a social member of Disabled American Veterans Post 123 and Eagles Lodge, both in Waynesburg, and was a member of Operating Engineers Local 2B, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo.
He was a 1971 graduate of West Greene High School and was employed for the past 31 years as a heavy equipment operator inseveral area strip mines in Southwestern Pennsylvania. At the time of his death, he was employed by JAN-X Industrial Inspections in pipeline construction.
Mr. Gillogly enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Robert Gillogly of Holbrook; a sister, Linda E. Porter of Holbrook; and a niece and four nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Jack S. Gillogly II, who died June 30, 1992; his paternal grandparents, Andrew J. and Mary Scott Gillogly; and his maternal grandparents, Ray and Nellie Cumberledge Stockdale.”
