Alva Graham Cooper, 82
Beverly — Alva Graham Cooper, 82, of 6333 Cooper Lane, McConnelsville, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 1997, at Mark Rest Center, McConnelsville.
Born May 28, 1915, in Columbus, he was a carpenter and farmer most of his life. Mr. Cooper was Methodist by faith.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Karlen and Angie Cooper of McConnelsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Paul Morton of Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Tori Allen, Stacy Matheny and Chad Cooper, all of McConnelsville, and Lynette Ellis and Lori Rigler of Arizona; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva N. and Edna Graham Cooper; his wife, Thelma S. Pernell Cooper, who died Aug. 6, 1987; and one brother, Glen Cooper.
Calling hours will by 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 26, 1997, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 1997, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beverly Cemetery.
