“Chriss C. Grimm Services in Ohio

Chriss C. Grimm, 90, of 2760 Viola, SW, Warren, Ohio, a native Wirt Countian, died at his home at 5:45 p.m., Wednesday, July 7, following an extended illness.

Born Februaryy 24, 1882, at Creston, Wirt County, he was the son of the late Sam and Mary Richards Grimm.

Mr. Grimm was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Deborah Hendricks Grimm, on May 30, 1963.

After spending his early years at Creston, Mr. Grimm had been a resident of Warren for 40 years. He was a member of the FIrst Assembly of God Church.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles B. Grimm, and two daughters, Iona Grimm and Emma V. Makse.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. May Moore, of Warren, and Drs. Delsia Manteau, also of Warren, with whom he had made his home for the past eight years; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles B. Grimm, and two daughters, Iona Grimm adn Emma V. Makse.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home in Warren. The Rev. Herbert E. Eicher officated, and burial was in the Crown Hill Burial Park.”
