“G. C. Grimms Visit Here; Report Death of Son
Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Grimm of Warren, O., and Mr. and Mrs. John Makse and son, Theodore, of Cleveland, O., arrived here last Saturday to spend the weekend and early this week visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Grimm of Creston, the Ross Greathouse family of Annamoriah, and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Makse was the former Miss Vernetta Grimm.
The C. C. Grimms lost their son, Charles B. Grimm of Warren, O., who was killed in an automobile accident on May 20, when his car left the highway and crashed into a tree about five miles out of Warren, at Niles, O. He was 50 years of age, and was employed at the Thomas Steel Mill.
Charles B. Grimm was born in the Spring Creek section of Wirt County July 22, 1905.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, and sister, include his widow, Elma Friend Grimm (a native of Maryland); six childrene, Dale and Olin, both married, and Kathleen, Burley, Glen and Phillip, all at home; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at the McFarland Funeral Home in Warren June 1, and burial was in the Crown Hill Cemetery near there.”
