“Harold L. Grimm, 89, of Parkersburg, passed away August 17, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center, in Parkersburg.
Harold was born Aug. 26, 1925, in Creston, W.Va., to Thomas B. and Sylvia Grimm.
Harold worked for American Gas Meter Company for 42 years. He loved to travel, go fishing, go to car shows and loved to listen to country music.
Harold will be deeply missed by sons, Gary (Dolores) Grimm of Fairplain and Timothy Grimm of Pennsylvania; daughter, Sandra L. Pontious of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Candida Pontious and Sheldon Pontious; brothers, Vance Grimm of Parkersburg; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Carmen Queen and Janet Wise of Parkersburg and Carolyn (Kenny) Guinn of Williamstown; and good friend, Peggy Miller.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Louise; parents, Thomas Grimm and Sylvia Wise and stepfather, George C. Wise.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.Thursday, Aug. 20, 2015, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at the funeral home, with Pastor Rick Kapple officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
