Obituary, Beaver County (PA) Times, March 4, 2001:
“Myrtle Wright
Myrtle Wright, 80, a resident of the Providence Health Care Center and a lifelong resident of New Brighton, died Friday, March 2, 2001, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born Sept. 21, 1920, in Freedom, a daughter of the late Harvey Ellsworth and Mary Rearden Grimm, she was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the Beaver County Children and Youth Services for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her hsband, Earle Whitney Wright, on Feb. 10, 1984; a brother, Harvey Grimm, in 1978, and three sisters, Madeline McKee, in 1978; Clara Emerick, in 1972, and Annabelle Painter, in 1945.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas E. and Debra Wright, and Robert B. and Donna Wright, all of Plano, Texas; a daughter, Norma DeVincentis, New Brighton; eight grandchildren, Jodi Lyn DeVincentis, New Brighton; Samuel Wright, Pittsburgh, and Kevin, Kelly, Andrew, David, Michael and Robert Wright, all of Plano, Texas; a great-grandson, Collin Wright, Plano, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the CAMPBELL’S NEW BRIGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1133 Penn Ave. A private funeral service will be held Monday with Pastor Cliff Reynolds, of the Word Alive Church, Ellwood City, officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.”
