“Drops 90 Feet Into Ohio River, But Will Live
Rochester, PA., May 28.—Suffering from shock and exposure as the result of a 90-foot plunge from the floor of the new bridge, between Rochester and Monaca, into the Ohio River today, Robert Weeks, 29, of Pittsburgh and 175 Pennsylvania avenue, is in the Rochester hospital. His condition is not serious, according to physicians.
Weeks, a painter in the employ of the E. P. George company, was saved from drowning by Harvey Grimm of Rochester, who went to his rescue in a towboat and brought him to shore.
Weeks lost his footing and fell into the water. He immediately reappered and struck out for shore. Grimm witnessed the accident, procured a towboat and went to Week’s assistance.”
