Obituary (from Richard Smith):
“Kimble, Virgil F., (Bob), of 92 1/2 North Twenty-second St., died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday in the Ohio Valley General Hospital. Born in Sisterville, W. Va., July 30, 1909, he was the son of Mrs. Hattie Kimble Jackson and the late Frank Kimble. He was a member of the Warwood Presbyterian Church, the Wheeling Lodge No. 5 A. F. and A. M. El Tor Grotto, and the Grotto Patrol. He was an employee of the Blaw Knox Corp. on the Peninsula, and part owner of the Valley Architectural Products Co. of Wheeling. Surviving in addition to his mother of Hollywood, Fla., are his wife, Madleline Ruch Kimble; one daughter, Patty Kimble, at home; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Quinn, Warwood; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. Monday at the Bodey Funeral Home, Warwood, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Shettel of the Warwood Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens. Masonic Lodge No. 5 will conduct graveside services.”
