“Rawson, Mrs. Sarah Schaas, 70, of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, died Thursday at her home. She was born Nov. 2, 1899, in Romania, daughter of Andreas and Sarah Schotsch Kloos. She was a retired owner and operator of the Rawson Grocery Store at Harrisville, member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Steubenville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gay A. Rawson, in 1966. Surviving are one son, John Schaas of Adena; two sisters, Mrs. Michael (Ann) Schell and Mrs. Suzanna Boehm, both of Romania; five grandchildren. Friends received at the Wilson Funeral Home, Dillonvale, Ohio, 5-9 P.M. today. Services there 2 P.M. tomorrow with the Rev. Fred MacLean officiating. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.”
