Obituary (from Richard Smith):

Funeral services are to be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Beiswenger chapel of the Bertschy Memorial mortuary for Mrs. Hulda Ann Rawson, widow of Thomas J. Rawson and a former resident of this city, who died early Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Jackson, 509 Dresden Ave., Steubenville, Ohio, where she had made her home for the past four years. Rev. W. H. Fields, paster-emeritus of the First Christian Church, will have charge of the service and interment will follow in Greenwood cemetery. The deceased was born in Horseneck, W.Va., and was a resident of Sistersville before moving to Wheeling to make her home. While in this city she resided with a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle M. Cox, who preceded her in death five years ago. Her husband, Thomas J. Rawson, was killed in an oil field explosion in 1904. Mrs. Rawson was a member of the Christian Church in Sistersville. She is survived by three daughters, four sons, four brothers, 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to Mrs. Jackson are two other daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Smith, Wheeling, and Mrs. Essie Martin, Baltimore, Md., four sons, Gay and Thomas, Turtle Creek, Pa; Everett, Los Angeles, Calif.; William Clarence (Bill) four brothers, Knute and James Grimm, Parkersburg; Jack Grimm,
Sistersville, and Harvey Grimm, Rochester, Pa.

On Wednesday, September 23, 1942, at 5:15 o'clock at the home of her Daughter, Mrs. George H. Jackson, Hilda Grimm Rawson, widow of Thomas Rawson, in her 66th year.9
