“Whiteman, Helen A. Cox, 79, of Highland Road, Wheeling, died Friday, March 14, 1997, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was a sales clerk at the former L.S. Good And Co., Wheeling, and a member of the First Christian Church, Wheeling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Whiteman; her parents, Frank and Myrtle May Rawson Cox; a brother, Clarence R. Cox. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Richard A. (Shirley) Harz of York, Pa., and Mrs. I. William (Nancy) Snider of Wheeling; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Friends received noon-3 and 7-9 P.M. Sunday at Kepner Funeral Home, Burke Chapel, 2101 Warwood Ave., Wheeling, where services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.”
