“Cox, Valerie R. Marcellus, 46, of Warwood Avenue, Wheeling, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was an office manager with the West Virginia Legal Services of Wheeling and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; an infant brother. Surviving are her husband, Clarence R.; her parents, W. Lee and Lillian Rickus Marcellus of Wheeling; three brothers, Bernard Lee, Jefferson G., and Christopher J. Marcellus, all of Wheeling; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Brenda) Witt of Wheeling, Mrs. Brad (Rebecca) Winwood of Weirton and Paula J. Marcellus of Charleston; several nieces and nephews. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Friday at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove, Wheeling. Entombment in Mount Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Wheeling. Vigil service at 3:30 P.M. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Osiris Shriners Children's Hospital, in care of Osiris Temple, Momument Place, Wheeling, WV.”1836
