Obituary, Akron (OH) Beacon Journal, Monday, July 29, 1991:
Mary Ellen Stull, 88, died Saturday evening, July 27, 1991, at Rose Lane Manor Nursing Home, where she received tender loving care.
Mrs. Stull was born in Doddridge County, W. Va., and had been an area resident most of her life. She was a private-duty practical nurse and midwife who delivered 50 babies. Mrs. Stull was a member of the Calvary Temple Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, in 1963, she leaves her daughters, Pauline Haywood of Akron, Ernestine Shepler of Warsaw, Ohio, Mary White of Norton; sons, Jack and Obbie, both of Akron, Beanie of Massachusetts; brother, Denzel Pointer of Akron; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren
and five great-great-grandchildren.
Calling hours from 7 to 9 p.m. TODAY, at Calvary Temple Church, 3045
Albrecht Ave., where Rev. Lindsey T. Hayes will conduct services at 11 a.m.
Tuesday. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Women's Auxiliary Board of Calvary Temple.
