Obituary, Akron Beacon Journal, Friday, Sept. 26, 2003:
E. B. (Jack) Stull, 80, died Sept. 21, 2003, after a long illness.
He lived most of his life in Akron, and was a World War II veteran, having served with the U.S. Army 87th Infantry Division, European Theater, in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired from Motor Freight Express in 1979.
Preceded in death by his son, Craig; sister, Pauline Haywood; and brother, Blaine, he leaves his wife, Hazel; sons, Ron and Jack (Roxan); daughters, Debbie Stull and Denise (Scott) Schopper; grandchildren, Tara, Christopher, Kristin, Jack, and Rachel; sisters, Ernestine Shepler and Mary White; and brother, Obbie Stull.
The family wants to thank our friends and loved ones for their many kindnesses and thoughtfulness; also the Cuyahoga Falls Hospital staff who all were so loving and caring.
There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service for the family has been conducted. Final resting place at Rose Hill Burial Park. (Clifford-Shoemaker, 330-928-2147.)
